Hi, I am Carina.
I was born in Tönisvorst in 1993. Ever since my youth, I had a deep desire to become a midwife. What the body accomplishes throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum is truly miraculous. Today I am a mother of two myself – which gives me a very personal understanding of just how special and demanding this chapter of life can be.
Following my graduation in Paderborn in 2016, I returned to the Rhine region and worked as a delivery room midwife at Florence-Nightingale Hospital in Düsseldorf. Since 2020 I have been fully dedicated to freelance midwifery care for growing families – from prenatal check-ups to postpartum support. In 2022 I completed my academic degree in Midwifery (B.Sc.).
My passion is providing continuous, evidence-based, and empathetic one-on-one care in the comfort of your home.

When should I contact a midwife for care?
As early as possible – ideally right after your positive pregnancy test. Midwives take on a limited number of families per month to guarantee dedicated support, and slots fill quickly.
Do you cover my neighbourhood?
My main focus is Korschenbroich, including Kleinenbroich and Glehn. I also care for families in Kaarst, Willich, Meerbusch-Büderich and Düsseldorf west of the Rhine, including Oberkassel, Niederkassel, Heerdt and Lörick. Other nearby locations are possible upon request and subject to availability.
Do you attend home births or act as an on-call birth midwife?
No, I do not attend births. I focus my work entirely on dedicated prenatal check-ups and postpartum care in the comfort of your home.
What is included in your prenatal check-ups?
Routine checks such as pH level tests, Doppler fetal heart rate checks, belly palpation, and symptom management. Routine ultrasound scans and lab blood draws are handled by your OB/GYN.
